Mr. and Mrs. William Barrow, Jr. of Edenton announce the engagement of their daughter, Ashley Victoria Barrow, to Cody Fleming Hamlet, son of Ms. Marsha Hamlet of Ramseur and Mr. and Mrs. Rex Hamlet of Asheboro. Ashley is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. William Barrow, Sr. of Jackson, and of the late Mr. and Mrs. William M. Davis of Conway.  She is a 2007 graduate of JohnA.HolmesHigh School and a 2011 graduate of North Carolina State University.  She is employed as an Educator by the North Carolina Aquarium at Fort Fisher. Cody is the grandson of Mr. and Mr. Don Hamlet of Asheboro. He is a 2007 graduate of Eastern Randolph High School and a 2010 graduate of North Carolina State University.  He is employed as a Laboratory Analyst at Hospira in Rocky Mount. The wedding is planned for August 31, 2013.
