Chicken sale benefits two local VFDs

LEWISTON-WOODVILLE – Perdue Farms and two local volunteer fire departments are bringing a truckload of affordable, nutritious PERDUE® chicken products to Lewiston-Woodville on Saturday, May 16 to help the local community during these challenging times amid the coronavirus pandemic.

Discounted chicken product sales will begin at 8 a.m. at the Old Harrington Manufacturing Company located at Oak Drive, Lewiston. Proceeds will benefit the Lewiston-Woodville and Kelford volunteer fire departments.

The available products include:

PERDUE® HARVESTLAND® Boneless Breast Individually Frozen (2, 5-pound bags) for $15 per case.

PERDUE® Layer Pack Leg (30-pound bags) for $15 per case.

There is a two-case limit per vehicle.

Fire department volunteers will distribute the cases and handle payment, which is by cash only. (No bills over $20.)

Customers should enter from Main Street and remain in their vehicles for social distancing.
