PENDLETON – Edward Earl “Eddie” Mooring, 56, died Thursday, June 2, 2020 at Vidant Medical Center in Greenville, North Carolina. He was native of Hertford County in North Carolina and was the son of the late Billy Ray Mooring. He owned and had operated Mooring Building Supply Company in Murfreesboro for many years.

Mr. Mooring’s survivors include his wife, Donna S. Mooring of their home in Pendleton; his children, Alyssa Smith (Shaquielle Taylor) and Lindsey Smith; mother, Lillie Dean Mooring of Murfreesboro; grandchildren, Izzabelle Taylor, Madalynn Graham and Waylon Prevatte;  brothers, Wayne Mooring and his wife, Peggy, and Johnny Mooring; sisters, Libby Mooring and Julie Gray; 7 nieces and 3 nephews.
