WINDSOR – The Chosen Few Motorcycle Club of Bertie County will host a charity ride and a meal on Saturday, Sept. 26 to benefit those impacted locally by the deadly tornado that spun off Hurricane Isaias on Aug. 4.

The ride will begin and end at the old Davis IGA in Windsor.

Registration for the ride will be from 8-9:30 a.m. with kickstands up at 10 a.m. The fee is $25 per bike (or car/truck), which includes a barbecue and fried fish lunch that will be served at 12 noon.

For those wishing not to participate in the ride, but want to purchase a meal, the price is $8 per plate.

The Lost Riders Club of Conway will assist in cooking and serving the meal.

All proceeds will be donated to the Bertie County / Morning Road Tornado Relief Fund.

In case of inclement weather, the charity ride and meal will take place on Saturday, Oct. 3 (same time and location).
