AHOSKIE – Relay For Life of Hertford-Gates counties will hold a Drive-Thru Luminaria Ceremony from 5:30-7:30 pm on Tuesday, Dec. 1 at the Ahoskie Creek Amphitheater.

The event, postponed from April, will honor cancer survivors and remember those lost to this horrible disease.

This will be a safe, socially distanced event as all attendees will remain in their vehicles throughout the parade. If, for some reason, you have an emergency that necessitates getting out of your vehicle, please wear a mask until you are back in your vehicle.

If you are a cancer survivor, feel free to decorate a sign to place in your car window (including years of survivorship) and you will receive a free goodie bag on the way out of the ceremony area.
