AULANDER – William Lee “Wild Bill” Baggett, age 70, of Aulander, passed away on Saturday April 10, 2021.

Bill was born March 28, 1950 to the late Claude and Clarine Baggett. Bill was employee with Republic Services for over 19 years. Bill was a loving husband, brother, uncle and friend. He spent most of this time working at the job he loved, helping others and spending time with the love of his life, Jenny. He was loved by all who knew him. He would always leave a kind word and a smile on your face when you talked with him. He loved “Western” movies, especially John Wayne. His passing has left a deep hole in the hearts of all who knew him.

Left to cherish Bill’s memory is his loving wife, Jenny; brother, Danny Baggett; niece, Spring Orientale and husband; aunt, Elma; numerous cousins, along with many friends.

The family will receive friends at their home in Millennium.

A celebration of life will be held at Lighthouse of Hope church in Woodland, NC on Saturday April 17, 2021 at 2 p.m. with Pastor Brian Jenkins officiating.
