JAMESVILLE – Lawrence Academy garnered a final appearance here Saturday.

The Warriors dismissed Bear Grass 11-2 to earn a spot in the Jamesville Easter Tournament finals. They will meet the host school.

Judd Whitehead picked up his fifth victory of the season, going five innings. He surrendered just two runs, neither of which was earned.

After scoring a single run on an error in the first frame, the Warriors scored three in the top of the third to take charge.

Gray Harrell scored on a Jacob Harrell RBI-double before Dusty Todd hit a two-run homer to lift the Warriors to a 4-0 advantage.

Lawrence plated six in the fifth frame to take control of the contest.

The Warriors improved to 7-4 on the season with the victory.
