AHOSKIE – Are you yet in the mood for Christmas?

If not, then a tour of Ahoskie area homes may provide the spark to light the proverbial fuse on holiday spirit.

The Ahoskie Women’s Club is hosting its Christmas Tour of Homes as well as a luncheon fashion show tomorrow (Wednesday, Dec. 14).

A few tickets remain for both events and are available from any Women’s Club member or can be purchased at the Ahoskie Chamber of Commerce. Tickets are priced at $15 for both events or $10 for the tour only. Those wishing to only attend the luncheon/fashion show will pay $8.

Lunch will be held at the Ahoskie United Methodist Church Fellowship Hall. Fashions will be provided by Parker II of Woodland. Those events are scheduled from 11:30 a.m. until 2 p.m.

The tour of homes will take place from 1-8 p.m. Featured homes include the Garrett House (home of the Ahoskie Chamber of Commerce) and the Jernigan House Bed and Breakfast. Private residences on the tour are the homes of Dr. Charles G. and Mary C. Pierce, Brian and Ruth Harrell, Michael and Billie Jo Harrell and Truett and Jennifer Robertson.

Maps and directions to each home will be available at the Garrett House.
