WINDSOR – The Windsor/Bertie Chamber of Commerce will hold its 2007 Membership Dinner on August 14.

The dinner will begin at 6 p.m. at the Heritage House Restaurant in Windsor.

Linda Rozelle is to be the speaker for the event. Rozelle is a business consultant and past president of the Greater Whiteville, North Carolina’s Chamber of Commerce.

She also illustrates books and music album covers and is a recipient of numerous awards, including the Woman of the Year and the Governor’s Volunteer Service Award.

Each year, the Windsor/Bertie Chamber gives one citizen an &uot;Outstanding Citizen Award.&uot;

This award will be presented at the Membership Dinner for the seventh year in a row.

Its purpose is to recognize one individual’s outstanding contributions to the improvement of the quality of life in Bertie County.

Nomination forms can be picked up from the Chamber office and must be turned back in by Friday, August 10.

Tickets for the Membership Dinner are $12.50 each.
