Carl Miller Sr., 77, died November 18, 2008 at his residence.
He was a native of Bertie County and a member of Zion Hill Missionary Baptist Church.
Survivors include three sons, George Millier of Winton, Carl Miller Jr. of Colerain and Sam Miller of Harrellsville; six daughters, Cindy D. Nichols and Mary Miller of Colerain, Doris Miller of Harrellsville, Peggy Miller of Ahoskie, Linda Miller of Murfreesboro and Marion Tyler of Newport News, VA.; one brother, Ernest Miller of Harrellsville; one sister, Sadie Harrell of Harrellsville; and 18 grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, November 22 at Zion Hill Missionary Baptist Church by Rev. Nathaniel Thompson. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
