Gladys Gallop

Gladys Marie Outlaw Gallop, 54, of Burlington, NC and former of Ahoskie died recently at her residence.
A native of Hertford County, she was a retired educator with the Alamance County–Burlington School System with 31 years of service. She was a graduate of North Carolina A&T State University and a member of the Burlington Alumni Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta
Survivors include her daughter, Alsace-Lorraine Catherine Karoline-Victoria Gallop of the home; her mother, Clarine Outlaw of Ahoskie; and a sister, Diane Maria Outlaw Bazemore of Ahoskie.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 22 at First Baptist Church, Burlington, with the Rev. R.W. Styles officiating. Visitation and viewing will be held from 7-8 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 22 and on Monday from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m. at Wilder’s Funeral Home in Aulander. Burial will take place at 2 p.m. on Monday at Zion Hill Baptist Church Cemetery, Colerain, with the Rev. Alton Bazemore officiating.
