Elizabeth Parker

Elizabeth Parker, 94, of Murfreesboro died March 4, 2009 at Halifax Regional Medical Center, Roanoke Rapids.
A native of Northampton County, she was formally employed with Chowan College. She was a member of First Baptist Church, Conway.
Survivors include four sons, Gilbert Barnes Jr. of Seattle, WA, Bobby Barnes of Raleigh, Randolph Barnes of Winter Haven, FL and George Majette of Conway; 13 grandchildren and a host of great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, March 11 at First Baptist Church, Conway by Rev. Elisha Barnes. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
