AHOSKIE — Cleo Mae Freeman, 63, of Ahoskie died Monday, August 3, 2009 at Bertie Memorial Hospital, Windsor.
A native of Hertford County, she was a homemaker.
She leaves to cherish her memories three sons, Vernon Weaver of Aulander, Patrick Freeman of Powellsville and Lance Freeman of Colerain; four daughters, Pam Hayes of Colerain, Krystal Freeman of Ahoskie, Wanda Freeman-Powell of New York and Sandy Freeman of Hexlena; three brothers, Joseph Freeman of Powellsville, Clarence Freeman of New York and Johnnie Freeman of Powellsville; three sisters, Anna Freeman of Powellsville, Rosa Lee Tyler Conn. and Mary Jean Freeman of Powellsville.
A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, August 7 at Zion Hill Missionary Baptist Church with the Rev. Nathaniel Thompson. Burial will take place in the Freeman Family Cemetery.
