Lillie Mae Williams Thompson, 77, of Lewiston died Monday, August 3, 2009.
A native of Bertie County, she was a member of Greater Village Gate Church in Lewiston and worked at Harrington Manufacturing.
Survivors include her husband, Eddie Thompson of Lewiston; six daughters, Edna Spann of Creswell, Maggie Murphy of Lewiston, Alice Williams of Windsor, Jacqueline Pugh of Lewiston, Deneatha Lassiter of Lewiston and Annie Thompson of Windsor; four sons, Eddie Thompson Jr. of Woodland, David Thompson and Micheal Thompson, both of Connecticut, and Alvin Thompson of Lewiston; 48 grandchildren, 50 great-grandchildren and nine great-great-grandchildren.
A funeral was held on Saturday, August 8 at New Bethlehem in Windsor with Pastor William Carmon officiating. Burial took place at Hillcrest Cemetery in Windsor.
Cherry Funeral Home, Windsor, handled the arrangements.
