Odell F. Deloatch, 76, of Conway died Saturday, October 3, 2009 at Halifax Regional Hospital in Roanoke Rapids.
A native of Northampton County, she was a former employee of Jim Brown Basket Factory.
Survivors include four sons, James Calvin Deloatch of Conway, Travis Deloatch of Pendleton, Windell Deloatch of Roanoke Rapids and Carnell Deloatch of Conway; four daughters, Christine Whitfield of Seaboard, Loistene Futrell of Hampton, VA, Diane Majette of Rich Square and Elsie Mitchell of Conway; two sisters, Lessie Mae Deloatch and Angeline Deloatch, both of Conway; 13 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
A funeral will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 7 at the Allen Chapel AME Church with the Rev. Timothy Edwards officiating. Burial will follow in the Deloatch Family Cemetery.
A viewing will be held from 1-8 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 6 at Hunter’s Funeral Home, Murfreesboro.
