Gladys Faye Conner, 75, died Saturday, January 2, 2010.
She was a native of Johnston County. She made her home in Bertie and Hertford County, living most of her adult life until recently moving to Potecasi.
Survivors include a daughter, Kim C. Johnson of Roanoke Rapids; seven sons, Frankie Parker and Joey Parker, both of Aulander, Glenn Parker, Vernon Conner, Bobby Conner and Jimmy Conner, all of Ahoskie, and Joseph Wayne Conner of Murfreesboro; three sisters, Elsie Peoples of Henderson, Shirley Hatcher of Oak Island and Catherine Phipps of Edenton; one brother, Edward Bailey of Ahoskie; 11 grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 7 at the Millennium Pentecostal Holiness Church with the Rev. Taylor Latham, the Rev. J.N. Baggett and the Rev. Sandy Outlaw officiating. Visitation will follow at the conclusion of the service at the church.
Interment services will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, Jan. 8 at the Aulander Cemetery in Aulander.
