Aunita Oates Holden, 69, of Dunn died Friday, February 5, 2010 at UNC Hospital in Chapel Hill.
She was a native of Hertford County.
Survivors include her husband, Thomas Holden of Dunn; two sons, Michael Oates of Linden, NJ and Otis Oates of Louisburg, Pa.; a daughter, Michelle Hyde of Concord; a sister, Edith Steight of Laurensburg; and 12 grandchildren.
A funeral will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 11 at New Beginnings in Murfreesboro with Bishop Reginald Hinton officiating. Burial will take place in the Gatling Family Cemetery.
Hertford County Undertakers, Winton, is handling the arrangements.
