Verna Porter Vann, 78, of Winton died Friday, February 26, 2010 at her residence.
She was a native of Roduco in Gates County.
Survivors include a sister, Cora L. Cross; a brother, William L. Porter; two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
A funeral will be held at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, March 2 at First Baptist Church of Winton with the Rev. Robert Horton officiating. Burial will take place in the church cemetery.
Hertford County Undertakers, Winton, is handling the arrangements.
