Lee Fuller

Mr. Lee Roy Fuller, 84 died Thursday, January 21, 2010 at his home, surrounded by his loving family.
Lee Roy was born in Rocky Mount and grew up in Ahoskie. He graduated from Ahoskie High School. He was a U. S. Marine Corps veteran of World War II. He worked for Garrett Funeral Home in Ahoskie before working for Nationwide Insurance Company where he became a sales manager. His work took him to Georgia, Elizabeth City, Southern Shores, returning to Ahoskie before moving to Vanceboro.
A military honor service and interment will be held on March 13, 2010 at 1:00 p.m. at Ahoskie Cemetery. Garrett-Jones Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.
Mr. Fuller is survived by his loving wife, Elizabeth “Beth” White Fuller of the home; daughter, Jane Fuller Bryan and husband, Randy, of Vanceboro; son, Lee Fuller Jr. and wife, Pat, of Ruckersville, VA; brother, Blackie Fuller of Jacksonville, FL: sisters, Sue Fuller Maples and Trovia Fuller of Lenoir City, TN. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Amy Bryan Wilson and husband, Brian, Melissa Elaine Bryan and fiancée, Brandon Bradshaw, Paul William Bryan and wife, Mandi, Mathew Fuller, and Lauren Fuller. He is lovingly known as “PawPaw” by his great-grandchildren, Dylan, Abigail, Isaiah, Michaela, and Brighton.
The Fuller family wishes to express heartfelt thanks to Community Home Care and Hospice and a very special thank you to Jessie James for her loving care and support.
