Lloyd Stanley Melton Jr. died Sunday, March 21, 2010 at Norfolk Sentara Hospital in Norfolk, Va.
Survivors include his wife, Jacqueline E. Melton of Murfreesboro; three sons, Lloyd Melton III of Murfreesboro, Kevin Melton of Willingboro, NJ and Eric Melton of Phoenix, Ariz.; three daughters, Raquel Estep of Murfreesboro, Michelle Dawson of League City, TX and Angela Brewington of Phoenix, Ariz.; his father, Lloyd D. Melton Sr.; two brothers, Kenneth Melton of Mexico and Barry Matthews of Houston, TX; a sister, Janice Frazier of Philadelphia, Pa.; 18 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
A memorial service was held at First Baptist Church Murfreesboro, Murfreesboro, on March 27 with Berna Stephens officiating.
Reynolds Funeral Home, Ahoskie, handled the arrangements.
