Timothy Alan “Tim” Gibson, 47, passed away June 30, 2010 at his residence.
He was born in Goldsboro, NC and worked at International Paper in Franklin for 27 years in the sheet finishing department.
Tim was a member of the Courtland United Methodist Church.
Survivors include his wife of 22 years, Martha McDuffie Gibson; his daughter, Michelle Gibson; his mother, Gertrude Parker Gibson of Murfreesboro; two brothers, Marty Gibson (Roberta) of Conway and Pete Gibson (Suzanne) of Murfreesboro; and several nieces and nephews.
Tim was predeceased by his father, Earl E. Gibson.
A memorial service will be conducted at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, July 2, 2010 at Wright Funeral Home in Franklin, Va. with the Rev. Richard Gordon officiating.
The family will receive friends from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. prior to the service.
