William Harrison “Billy” Venable, age 44, of the 200 block of Blackrock Road, died Friday, July 9, 2010, at Chowan Hospital, Edenton.
Mr. Venable was born on October 3, 1965 in Hertford County, a son of Ernest J. and Jennie Walters Venable. He was a graduate of Ridgecroft School and Atlantic Christian College and was the former owner and manager of Electric Motor Service of Ahoskie.
Besides his parents, Ernest and Jennie Venable, Billy is survived by a sister, Terry V. Rose of Waynesville, NC; and a brother, Donald Venable of Tuscaloosa, AL.
A Celebration of Life memorial service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 13, 2010, at Garrett-Jones Funeral Home, with the Rev. Robert May officiating.
