Elizabeth “Beth” Gray White Fuller

VANCEBORO, NC – Elizabeth “Beth” Gray White Fuller, 85, passed away peacefully in her sleep, Sunday, October 10, 2010, at her home.
Beth was born, December 10, 1924, in Holland, VA to Mamie Perry and Hezekiah White. She spent most of her youth in the Perrytown Community of Bertie County.
She served in the US Navy as a WAVE during WWII.
She settled in Ahoskie during the early part of her marriage to Lee Roy Fuller, Sr., eventually moving briefly to Macon, GA, and then to Elizabeth City. She worked in Elizabeth City as a Registrar for College of Albemarle. She and her husband retired to Southern Shores and Ahoskie prior to moving to Vanceboro, NC.
Beth was preceded in death by her husband, Lee Roy Fuller, Sr. in January 2010.
A celebration of Beth’s life will be held from 2-4 p.m. on Friday, October 15, 2010 at Pollock~Best Funeral Home in New Bern, NC.
Mrs. Fuller is survived by her daughter, Jane Elizabeth Fuller Bryan and husband, Randy, of the home; son, Lee Fuller, Jr. and wife, Pat, of Ruckersville, VA; sister, Dorothy White Bradshaw of South Boston, VA; and her brother, John White and wife, Nancy, of Rolesville, NC. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Amy Leigh Bryan Wilson and husband, Brian; Melissa Elaine Bryan Bradshaw and husband, Brandon; Paul William Bryan and wife, Mandi; Matthew Fuller and fiancée, Amy McDaniel; and Lauren Fuller. She is lovingly known as “Granny” by her great grandchildren; Dylan, Abigail, Isaiah, Michaela, Brighton, and Hollie.
