Everette Warren Archer

WINTON – Everette Warren Archer, 87, passed away peacefully at his home on Saturday, December 11, 2010.
Warren was born on September 16, 1923 to the late Oscar Vann and Clemie Melton Archer in Cofield, North Carolina. He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 63 years, Mary Daniels Archer, and his eldest daughter, Donna Archer (Johnny) Tutt of Columbus, Ohio.
He is survived by his two daughters, Clemmie Archer Moore (Bernard) and Avis Annette Archer, both of Winton.
In January 2000 he retired from HAN Music Company due to illness. He was a ten-year cancer survivor.
Warren has six grandchildren: Johnny II, Grace, Cynthia (Jame), Michael (Heather), Marlo (Randy) and Amber. He was a great-grandfather of nine: Mercedes, Makayla, Cheyanne, Caitlynn, Adrian, Johnny III, Kamryn, Lauren and Warren.
Warren is also survived by one loving sister, Clemmie Maxine Stubbs and three brothers: Randolph Archer, Oscar Archer and Allen Thomas Archer and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Funeral services will be held at First Baptist Church, Winton, at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, December 15, 2010. Burial to follow at First Baptist Church Cemetery near Winton.
Hertford County Undertakers Union of Winton is handling the arrangements.
