CHESAPEAKE, Va. – James L. Briscoe, 88, of Chesapeake, Va., formally of Gates County, died Thursday, February 16, 2012 at Chesapeake Regional Hospital, Chesapeake, VA. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, February 25, 2012 at Lebanon Grove Missionary Baptist Church. Burial will follow in First Baptist Roduco Cemetery. Hunter’s Funeral Home, Gates, is handling the arrangements.
