Arlen and Jerri Peede of Ahoskie announce the upcoming marriage of their daughter, Jennifer Lynn Peede, to Joshua Lee Claxton, the son of Neal and Donna Place of Creswell. She is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Wilbert Lee Morris Sr. of Kelford and Mr. and Mrs. Raleigh Joyner Jr. of Ahoskie. He is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Leonard of Ahoskie and Betty Ovellette of Aulander. An open church wedding is planned for 3 p.m. on April 28 at Union Baptist Church, Ahoskie.
