Annie R. Barnes of Greenville announces the engagement of her daughter, Keisha Yvette Barnes of Richmond, VA, to Kenneth Darryl Pierce of Richmond, VA, son of Christine N. Pierce of Ahoskie. Ms. Barnes, also the daughter of the late Mr. Willie Edward Barnes, is a graduate of J. H. Rose High School and received a Bachelors of Science in Accounting from the North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University. She is an Accounting Supervisor with Altria Client Services Inc. in Richmond, Va. and a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. Mr. Pierce, also the son of the late Mr. Wilbur Glenwood Pierce, is a graduate of J. A. Holmes

High School and received a Bachelors of Science in Business Administration from the North Carolina

Agricultural and Technical State University. He is a Human Resources Manager with Dominion Resources Inc. in Mineral, VA and a member of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. A June 23 wedding is planned in Greenville.
