LASKER – Northeast Academy scored a straight-set win over Terra Ceia Christian School here Sept. 13.

The Lady Eagles volleyball team won by counts of 25-18, 25-11 and 25-19 to improve to 3-6 overall and 1-4 in the Tarheel Independent Conference.

“We rebounded from our loss at Ridgecroft,” Northeast skipper Cap Pfeiffer said. “Our girls played as a team and we executed well.”

Lindsey Bryant led the way for the Eagles with 11 kills, six aces, a dig, a tip and an assist. Arielle Ricks added 12 assists for Northeast to go with a pair of digs, two kills and an ace.

Brittany Parker recorded five aces for Northeast to go with three digs and two kills while Chelsea Rose had four digs, two aces, two assists, two kills and a tip.

Alexis Soper added two digs, a kill and a tip while Hallie Moore had a pair of aces and one kill.
