WINDSOR – A Bertie County man found even more charges after being incarcerated.

The Bertie County Sheriff’s Office served a warrant on Keith Andre Speller of Woodard Road, Windsor, after he was placed in the Bertie-Martin Regional Jail under assault charges.

“Our Narcotics Division already had a warrant for him,” Bertie County Sheriff John Holley said. “Once we picked him up on the other charges, the warrant was served.”

Speller now faces one count of trafficking cocaine, one count of possession with intent to sell and deliver cocaine and one count of possession of marijuana up to one-half an ounce.

He was placed under a $100,000 secured bond for the charges.
