CONWAY – Jean Staton Butler, 85, died Sunday, March 9, 2014 at Inpatient Hospice of Vidant Medical Center in Greenville.

A native of Scotland Neck, she was a devoted and loving mother and grandmother, and was a member of Conway Baptist Church.

Her survivors include a daughter, Trudy “Deedi” Butler; a son, Fred Shelton Butler, Jr.; two grandchildren, Jacob Barnes and Seth Hargett; and one sister, Juanita Bryant of Hobgood.

Her graveside service will be held Thursday, March 13, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. in the Town of Conway Cemetery.
