Help solicited in Conway crimes

CONWAY – The Conway Police Department is seeking the public’s help in solving a rash of recent crimes.
According to Conway Police Chief B.W. Duke, there have been five incidents from May 1-14.
On May 1, Duke said a 2002 Honda four-wheeler was reported stolen from Maple Ave. Four days later (May 5), an ice machine dispenser was reported stolen from Merchants Alley.
A bicycle was reported stolen May 6 on Maple Ave. Duke stated that this particular item has been recovered and returned to owner.
Garris Sales and Service was victimized on May 9. Two batteries were reported stolen.
A thief or thieves struck two Conway businesses on May 14 as the Nationwide Insurance office and Woodard Insurance Agency were victims of break-ins. Duke said that a window-mounted air-conditioner unit, and mixed coins and cash were taken in those two crimes.
The Conway Police Department is requesting any tips from the public relating to these crimes and is offering a cash reward for information that leads to an arrest.
