COFIELD – Martha Daniels Flood died on November 25, 2015. She was born September 3, 1917, in Cofield, North Carolina to the late Whaley Daniels, Sr. and Gracie Pierce Daniels.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Denver R. Flood; her daughter, Renee F. Stiff; her sons, Dr. Roy D. Flood and Merrill Flood; her sisters, Emily Faison, Nellie Fountain, Mary Archer and Marion Roddy; and her brother, Whaley Daniels, Jr.

Martha Flood is survived by her daughter, Gladys F. Thompson; her son, Dr. Allen A. Flood, Sr. (Juanita); her sister, Lillian D. Walker; one son-in-law, Lee Stiff; two daughters-in-law Yvonne and Carolyn; twelve grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; and many loving nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, November 28, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at Philippi Baptist Church in Cofield, NC where the Rev. Sherman Daniels is the interim pastor. Rev. Charlie Carter will officiate.
