Benjamin C. Liverman

MANCHACA, TX – Benjamin Charles Liverman, 75, of Manchaca, TX, passed away December 26, 2015 in Austin, Texas.
Ben was born April 20, 1940 in Harrellsville, NC, the son of the late Rupert O. Liverman and Lucy Pearce Liverman. Ben retired as a Master Sergeant from the United States Air Force, and Air Force Reserve. He was an exterior electrician both in the military and continuing as a civil servant at Bergstrom, AFB.
He was a long-time member of Onion Creek Baptist Church, where he served as a deacon. He was a devoted Christian and family man, as well as a tireless worker, willing to assist anyone he met with his extensive experience and expertise in many crafts and trades.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Mildred Liverman Johnson, and his brother, Rupert E. Liverman.
He is survived by his wife, Janice Liverman; his son, Charles Liverman and his wife, Kimberly; his daughter, Julie Liverman Lane and her husband, Bobby; all of Buda, Texas; his daughter, Krickett Hancock, of Maud, Texas; and his son, Daniel Dardeau, of Austin, Texas; his sister, Lillian Liverman Pruden, of Saint Pauls, NC; his brothers, Richard Liverman of Cofield, NC and Jim Liverman of Aulander, NC; his grandchildren, Nicole Lane Alcala, Christopher Lane, Travis Lane and Ella Dardeau; as well as several great-grandchildren, nephews and nieces.
The family would like to extend their gratitude to the medical and nursing staff of the Seton Medical Center Austin for their care.
The family received friends on Wednesday, December 30, 2015, at Harrell Funeral Home, 4435 Frontier Trail, Austin.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 31, 2015, at Onion Creek Baptist Church, 8214 E. Riverside Drive, Austin. Interment will follow at Live Oak Cemetery, Austin.
