Chowan hires Humphrey and Peede to Registrar’s Office

MURFREESBORO – Chowan University announces the hiring of two alumnae to the Registrar’s Office. Both Jennifer Humphrey and Stephanie Peede are recent graduates from the university and will be working alongside Patricia Hale as Assistants to the Registrar, Donna Robbins.
Humphrey, a native of Suffolk, VA, is a former member of the Chowan Tennis team. Last year she served as Academic Success Coach in the Office of Academic Success. As a student Humphrey was President of the Honor’s College and Best All-Around Student. In the Registrar’s Office she is now first tier customer service, graduation auditor, and designated school official for issuance of I-20 documents for international students.
Peede, a native of Trap in Bertie County, has been hired as second tier customer service, secondary transcript evaluator, and certifying official for students receiving VA benefits in the Registrar’s Office. She graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English and has three years of work study experience in the Academic Success Office. Peede is also a member of Pi Gamma Mu International Honors Society, the oldest and preeminent honor society in the social sciences.
