FORT WORTH, TX – The Town of Ahoskie has selected Buxton to help craft and implement the town’s retail recruitment and business retention strategy. Buxton’s retail site development expertise and consumer analytics will determine the restaurant and retail concepts that are the best match for the town.
“The leadership for the Town of Ahoskie has a mission of promoting, encouraging, and supporting a high quality of life for its citizens,” said Jimmie Rowe, town mayor for Ahoskie. “By partnering with Buxton to focus on the retail and restaurant offering in our community, we are taking a big step toward enhancing the quality of life in the town.”
“We are extremely excited to partner with the Town of Ahoskie to work toward their retail development goals with a proactive strategy,” said Robb Miller, director of sales for Buxton.
As part of the partnership, the community will work with Buxton to utilize customer data and consumer insights that go beyond demographics to present a compelling case to retail and restaurant brands that are looking for growth opportunities in the North Carolina region. Buxton’s proprietary web-based real estate platform, SCOUT, gives the town’s leadership team the ability to analyze retail matches, support existing retailers and utilize marketing materials in the retail recruitment process.
Buxton has worked with more than 750 cities nationwide to implement retail development strategies. Other client cities in North Carolina include Waxhaw, Mount Holly and Thomasville.
