To the Editor:

It is common knowledge that when people pass away we miss them.

Well, since I retired from Eddie Harrell’s Auto and Sports Store in Ahoskie, I still see and meet people all the time that were customers of mine at the store when I worked there. They always tell me how much they miss me since my retirement.

I’m writing this to let them know that it is nice to be missed while a person is still living.

I would like to thank all those who have shared their words of gratitude with me. May God bless you all.
