AHOSKIE – The Hertford County Firefighters Association (HCFFA) will host its inaugural Firemen’s Community Fun Day beginning at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 16 at the Ahoskie Creek Amphitheater.

The event, open to the public, will feature competitive events between the respective member departments of the HCFFA as well as fire departments in surrounding counties.

Fire trucks will also be on public display. There will also be games, food, raffles, music, and fun for all ages.

The HCFFA consists of fire departments in Ahoskie (Town and Rural stations), Como, Harrellsville, Millennium, Murfreesboro, St. John, Union and Winton.
