AULANDER, NC – Jim Pearce Liverman, age 76, passed away on Saturday, November 25, 2017 at the Accordious at Creekside of Ahoskie, NC, with his loving family by his side.
Mr. Liverman was born on September 8, 1941 to Rupert Owen and Lucy Pearce Liverman in Cofield, NC. Jim married the love of his life on August 7, 1966 and to this marriage was born two daughters. He worked as an electrician for Golden Peanut Co. before retiring in 2003. Jim enjoyed working on the farm with his brothers and spending time with his grandchildren. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend.
Besides his parents, Jim was preceded in death by his brothers, Rupert and Benjamin Liverman; and a sister, Mildred Johnson.
Left to cherish Jim’s memory is his wife, Eileen; two daughters, Deborah Liverman Jones and husband Kevin of Ahoskie, NC, and Lori Ann Liverman of Castalia, NC; three granddaughters, Kasey Lynn Jones of Raleigh, NC, Emily Grace and Kelsey Ann Bryant of Castalia, NC; one grandson, Tyler Jones of Ahoskie, NC; one brother, Richard Liverman and wife Frances of Cofield, NC; and one sister, Lillian Pruden of St. Paul, NC.
The family received friends prior to the celebration of life service that was held on Monday, November 27, 2017 at the Chapel of Garrett-Sykes Funeral Service, Ahoskie, NC, with the Rev. Mickey Willard and the Rev. Jimmy Jarrell officiating. Burial followed at Aulander Cemetery.
