NOTE: The majority of Gates County voters were in favor of all six state constitutional amendments on the ballot. Five of those were by margins of 60 percent or more: protection of the right to hunt and fish (78.7%); strengthening victims rights (80.7%); capping the state income tax rate at a maximum 7.0 percent (78.6%); requiring an ID to vote (71%); and creating a Bipartisan Board of Ethics and Elections (64.7%).
