AHOSKIE – Marguerite Geniel Jenson Anschutz Crippen, 87, of Ahoskie, passed away Friday, November 24, 2018 in her home, with her son Alan by her side.

Born in Portsmouth, VA on May 9, 1931, she was the daughter of the late James Garfield and Mildred Eva Diggs Jenson. She was a member of the Ahoskie Branch of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Patricia Howell; her son, Orville “Peewee” Anschutz, Jr.; her siblings, Ruth Jenson Daly, Leroy Jenson, Lionel Jenson, Elmer Jenson, Mildred Hamilton, and James McLendon.

Surviving are her sister, Geraldine Radford; her children, April Esposito, Rodney Anschutz, and Alan Crippen; 11 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, February 2, 2019, at 2:00 p.m. in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, 716 Poplar Neck Rd. Edenton, NC 27935.
