AHOSKIE – “Before You Say I Do!” is a new book authored by Dr. Wanda Hunter of Ahoskie.
In the book, Hunter references several considerations to make before marriage. There are many things people may not think about before they choose to marry their partner. “Before You Say I Do!” discusses issues and beliefs to be contemplated before you decide to take that leap. Hunter seeks to bring to light the important factors of choosing a spouse based on God’s intentional plan.
She currently holds a PhD in Psychology and is a graduate of Fayetteville State University, Liberty University, and Northcentral University. She is currently a school counselor, a certified PREPARE/ENRICH facilitator, as well as a certified Save Your Marriage Before It Starts (SYMBIS) facilitator.
Hunter has a passion for children and families and believes that strong marriages can produce strong families. She realized that children are simply products of their environments, which prompted her to study the entire family system.
Hunter will hold a book signing from 5 – 7 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 28 at Quinton’s Restaurant & Lounge, located on Main Street in Ahoskie. The book can be purchased there or through amazon.com or barnesandnoble.com.
