COMO, NC – Cora Lee Riddick Steward, who quietly passed on April 4, 2019, was born in Como, NC, on June 11, 1920 to the proud parents, Robert and Daisy Riddick.

Her siblings, who preceded her in death, were Gertrude Riddick Littlejohn, Hardy Riddick, Dorothy Riddick Vaughan, and Gladys Riddick Fox.

Cora married George Steward in 1938, and had three children; Isabella Steward Davis, Golden Garris Steward (Gloria Jean), and Joan Elizabeth Steward.

In addition, Cora has four grandchildren; Gregory Garris Steward (Tone), Fawne Steward Bush, Misha Steward Walker, and Kristen Davis Stewart; 11 great grandchildren; and a host of family and friends whom she adored.

Cora was active at Millneck Baptist Church of Como for more than 80 years.

Funeral services were held on Monday, April 8, 2019 at Millneck Baptist Church in Como.
