GREENVILLE – Donell Eason of Greenville, NC departed this life on Saturday, August 3, 2019 in Greenville, NC. He was born on August 5, 1943 to the late Leonard Eason and Addie Vinson Eason in Northampton County, NC. He was a Truck Driver.

Donell leaves to cherish his memories: his wife, Jamie Lawrence Eason; daughters, Ivy Person (Ronnie) of Ahoskie, NC, Alicia Eason of Greenville, NC, Barbara Ann Harris of Woodland, NC, Brenda Ann of DC and Denise Gortman of SC; sons, John Eason (Beverly) of Raleigh, NC, Douglas Eason (Karen) of Maryland, Frankie Moore of Aulander, NC, Eugene Eason (LaTisha) of Greenville, NC and Aaron Reed of GA; sisters, Mary Faison, Evelyn Faison (Richard) of Ahoskie, NC and Lillie “Boot” Williams (Haley) of Norfolk, VA; brothers, Willie Eason of NY and Curtis Eason (Vernell) of Portsmouth, VA; a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Visitation was held on Friday, August 9, 2019 at Hunter’s Funeral Home, Ahoskie, who is handling the arrangements.

Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. on Saturday, August 10, 2019 at Menola Baptist Church.
