MURFREESBORO – If you were amazed by the colorful and festive holiday lights that were used during the Christmas season in Murfreesboro, you now have the opportunity to purchase them.

Dozens of the colorful orbs, each 12 inches in diameter and filled with 100 sparkling lights, are now on sale for $25 each. Murfreesboro officials will use the proceeds to enhance the town’s Christmas decorations in upcoming years.

Colors available are white, red, blue, green, and multicolor

If requested, the lights can be made to flash. The lights are electric.

They can serve as party lights at a residence year-round, or use them for special occasions such as weddings, birthday parties….even on the Independence Day holiday.

Purchases – by cash or personal checks – are first-come, first-serve. Checks should be written to the Town of Murfreesboro. Donations are also appreciated.

The lights may be picked up at the Murfreesboro Municipal Building (Town Hall), located at 105 East Broad Street.
