WILLIAMSTON – Daniel Lawrence Callis (64) departed this earthly life on April 7, 2021 at his residence in Williamston, NC. He was born on September 15, 1956 in Hertford County, NC to the late Cecil and Elizabeth Aswell Callis.

Daniel was a member of Harrellsville Baptist Church. He retired as a long distance truck driver.

Daniel leaves to cherish fond memories: his daughter, Laurie Rodriguez of Richland, WA; (1) sister, Sonya C. Taylor (Wayne) of Winton, NC; (1) brother, Cecil Alexander Callis (Debbie) of Kittrell, NC; (1) granddaughter, Taryn Norman; and (3) great-grandchildren; a host other relatives and friends.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, April 18, 2021 at Winton Baptist Church, Winton.
