Northampton mandates facemasks in county-owned facilities

JACKSON – Citing a recent increase in positive COVID-19 cases locally and across the state, Northampton County Interim Manager Charles R. Tyner, Sr. said facemasks will be required to be worn inside county government buildings by all employees and visitors, regardless of vaccination status.
The mandate becomes effective on Thursday, Aug. 19 and applies to all county-owned facilities until further notice.
