AHOSKIE – Roanoke-Chowan Community College will host a Career & Community Resource Fair from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. on Thursday, March 31 in the Multipurpose Room on the college’s main campus.

Information about careers, job opportunities, and community resources will be available.

Local business/industry participating include Chowanoke Public Transportation Authority (CPTA), ECU School of Dental Medicine, Hertford County Public Schools Human Resources, NCWorks Career Center, Newport News Shipbuilding, Nucor Steel Hertford County, Perdue Farms, and Roanoke Chowan Christian Women’s Job Corps.

Also providing information about jobs available are the Roanoke Chowan Community Health Center, Roanoke Electric, State Employees Credit Union, Thompson Industrial Services, LLC, US Marines, Vidant Roanoke Chowan Hospital, (various departments), and Vocational Rehabilitation.

The event, co-hosted by R-CCC and Hertford County Early College and sponsored by Rivers East Workforce Development, it is open to the public.
