AULANDER, NC – Mrs. Marion E. Britt, 82, of Aulander, NC, peacefully departed her earthly life on June 5, 2022 at The University of Maryland Charles Regional Medical Center in LaPlata, Maryland.

She was the daughter of Colie McCray Raby (deceased) and Ruby R. Scott.

Left to cherish her memory are her husband, John A. Britt; her children, Renee Britt-Boone and Avery Britt; her mother, Ruby Scott; nine brothers and sisters; five grandchildren; one great-grandchild; a son-in-law; sister-in-law; brother-in-laws and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Funeral services will be held on June 18, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at Jordan Grove Missionary Baptist Church in Winton, NC, followed by burial at Elm Grove Missionary Baptist Church in Aulander, NC. Masks are required while attending the funeral service.
