EURE – The Beaver Lake Ski Club will host the Beaver Lake Challenge Water Ski Tournament on Saturday and Sunday, June 25-26.

The event will feature slalom, trick, and jump competition in all age groups. Skiers are expected from several mid-Atlantic states. The tournament is sanctioned by USA Water Ski.

Skiing will begin each day at 8 am and conclude around 5 pm.

Swimming is allowed and admission is free. Concessions will be available on site.

“We invite the public out to enjoy the lake and the tournament,” said Beaver Lake Tournament Director Jeff Mitchell.

Beaver Lake is known far and wide for its top notch skiing conditions and great tournament environment. It is located on Beaver Lake Lane off of US 13/158 two miles north of the Chowan River Bridge at Winton.
