WINTON – Hertford County local government is hosting its second annual Halloween Fun Festival from 4-8 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 29 at the new county courthouse (115 Justice Drive, Winton).

Admission is free.

The event will feature music, games, facepainting, a petting zoo, a haunted hayride, and a costume contest.

Local government departments and other entities will hand out goodies to the children during a “Trunk or Treat” event.

There will be a chili cook-off and food trucks will be set up in the courthouse parking lot offering menu items for sale.
